- Peterborough County ARES
is called out to support flood relief after
major flooding in the City of Peterborogh and Town of Lakefield (July 15, 2004)

Hastings County ARES is formed From the Quinte and Tri-County ARES. Peter Hodgson VE3UR, becomes
the EC for this ARES group. (July 1, 2004)
- The Trent ARES District was formed, Bill Milligan VA3WOW is the District Emergenct Coordinator
and the District encompasses Haliburton, Peterborough, Northumberland, Prince Edward and Hastings
Counties as well as the Township of South Algonquin. This encompasses the same area as the
Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) sector of the same name. (May 21, 2004)
